up as an Air Force dependant as well as being in the military myself, I am quite familiar with the rigors and trials of
an armed forces family. My father spent 30 years in the Canadian Forces as an
Airframe Technician and we have been posted to Greenwood NS, Chatham NB,
Ottawa
ON, 4 Wing in Baden Germany and back to Greenwood.I joined the Canadian Armed Forces in 1972 as a Teletype and Cypher Technician and had a very enjoyable five year tour. I was stationed at CFB Kingston, CFB Greenwood and CFB North Bay.In 1978 I entered the Real Estate Profession with the Atlantic Trust Company and helped found the Greenwood office. There I became involved with real estate sales, mortgages, and investments.In 1981 we formed Merrill & Hennessey Realty and became one of the areas most successful real estate companies.
In 1987 Merrill & Hennessey purchased the Franchise rights for Realty World and we became REALTY WORLD Merrill & Hennessey, one of the first Realty World franchises in Atlantic Canada.In 1991 after acquiring the Greenwood office I became the BROKER/OWNER of REALTY WORLD Foundation, the areas number one real estate office.In 2000 our office merged with Century 21 Acclaim and we
became the #1
Real Estate Office in the Annapolis Valley and have maintained that distinction
to date.
